Parish Responsibilities

Hockliffe Parish Council is responsible for many other aspects of the village environment. Among the many things we look after are:

  • Bus shelters
  • Defibrillators – see below
  • Grass cutting on the Village Green
  • Hockliffe Cemetery
  • Recreation Ground
  • Seats and Benches

Street lighting, grass cutting of verges, roads, footpaths and drains maintenance are the responsibility of either Central Bedfordshire Council for the village or Highways England (HE) for the A5.
